Safflower
Safflower – The dried yellow flowers (Carthamus tinctorius) are sometimes sold as Mexican saffron, and used like saffron as a food dye.
Otherwise, fresh petals can be torn into salads, soups, and sauces. They have a very mild flavour of their own.
