Seaweed

Seaweed is a good emulsifier and possesses good water holding, oil holding, gelling, and binding properties which makes them quite useful in food and industrial applications. Seaweed is used as a binding agent in making jellies, gels, adhesives, paints, and dental creams. They are also used as softening agents in the cosmetic industry for making organic skin care products.
